Not everyone agrees that an overall depth chart is a great way to approach your Fantasy Football prep. Most experts agree that positional tiers are best, especially as you get into the middle rounds of a draft, where you can have big gaps in value between available players at different positions.

However, at MYDVA, we believe that the first few rounds of your draft can really determine what your team looks like. Do you have a hard-core RB-RB philosophy? Are you going to go for positional value even if it means your first three picks are all wideouts?

We think having a global depth chart can really help you out in the beginning of the draft. It means you can set your priorities. You won't be on the clock at your second-round pick with a supposedly high-value guy on your "no-draft" list staring you in the face.
