September 24, 2011 – Music And Movement Series
Sitting in on keys for the Music and Movement show directed by Las Guitarras de Espana‘s Carlo Basile at Mayne Stage. An Indian music and dance set, followed by a West African music and dance set, followed by a 3-movement suite bringing it all together with modern jazz, dance, flamenco, Indian, and African musicians from all the ensembles.
September 18 & 19, 2011 – Chicago World Music Festival
The Opposition Party plays two shows for the Chicago World Music Festival – Sunday the 18th in a free show at Navy Pier, and Monday the 19th in a show at The Mayne Stage with Crupo Cumbe.
