Street Angels began as a project investigating a folk myth: that angels walk among us, clothing themselves in the guise of those in need, to report back upstairs on the progress of human kindness here on earth. It struck me that perhaps I should ask some people who might know.
In doing the interviewing for this piece, I found a wide range of opinions but an ease with the topic. Responses ranged from the philosophical to the practical to the dismissive.
I didn’t set out for this piece to become a musical collaboration, but that’s where it ended up.
